Dignitaries from Mongolia and S.Korea have official talks
PoliticsUlaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The talks were held in the General Sukhbaatar chamber of the State House on Friday. At the beginning, President Ts.Elbegdorj expressed deep gratitude to Ms Park Geun Hye on behalf of our people and the government, and wished a convenient stay in Mongolia to the accompanying delegation.
"I paid a visit to S.Korea two months ago, and I am happy that many things discussed during that visit is now showing tangible results", noted the President. Mongolia hosted the ASEM Summit with success, he said and thanked the government of the Republic of Korea for its support and cooperation in making this possible.
"I am confident that, after your visit, the relations between Mongolia and S.Korea will be upgraded to much higher level. I wish success for your visit. Thank you", said Mr Elbegdorj.
In response, Ms Park congratulated, first of all, on the successful organization of the ASEM Summit. Recalling her visit Mongolia in 2009, she applauded Mongolia's blooming economic and democratic growth in the past seven years. "I think this is the fruition of hard work of both Mongolian president and the people", she underlined.
The mutual visits within a period of one year is a rare incident in diplomacy and, yet, are the expression of great aspiration of the two countries for improved bilateral ties, she considered.
Then, the dignitaries continued their talks with discussions about cooperation document, and matters of cooperation in trade, economy and infrastructure.
