Park Geun-Hye's official visit commences
PoliticsUlaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ At 9.35 am today (July 17), the President of Mongolia, Mr Ts.Elbegdorj officially welcomed at the Chinggis Square the President of the Republic of Korea, Ms Park Geun-Hye, who is paying an official visit to Mongolia, after her attendance in the 11th ASEM Summit in Ulaanbaatar.
After the guards of honor lined up and the two countries' state anthems were sounded, Mongolian and S.Korean presidents paid tribute to the statue of Chinggis Khaan.
Then, the President of S.Korea Park Geun-Hye signed the book for honored guests and posed for a photo with our President.
The heads of states held a tete-a-tete at the State Ceremonial Ger Urgoo of the Government House. The meeting will be followed by official talks and the signing of cooperation documents.
In conclusion of the above meetings, the Presidents Ts.Elbegdorj and Park Geun-Hye will call a press briefing at the Government House.
Also, in the margin of her visit, Ms Park will have a meeting with representatives of S.Korean citizens living and working in Mongolia, which is the last action for today's visit.
Ms Park landed in Chinggis Khaan International Airport on July 14, greeted by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia L.Purevsuren and other officials to partake in the ASEM Summit and pay an official visit.
