More than half of Mongolian citizens vote as of 17.00
PoliticsUlaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ As of 5.00 pm, election participation rate was 55% for parliamentary elections, reported the General Election Committee. Out of the registered 1,912,901 citizens of voting age, 1.148 million have voted.
Average voter turnout was 61.5% at the same time in localities. Highest activeness was observed in the 31st constituency of Uvs province (81.4%), while the lowest was in the 48th constituency of Orkhon province (48.1%), informed the director of the General Election Committee Mr Ch.Sodnomtseren.
In Ulaanbaatar, the voter turnout was 47% at 17.00.
