Mongolian geologists and analysts assemble
PoliticsUlaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Ministry of Mining and the Mongolian Geological Society organized the Mongolian Geology and Explorations-2016 forum on March 25-26, attracting over 700 delegates from the State Great Khural (parliament), state bodies, NGOs and 40 geology and exploration organizations.
The forum adopted recommendations, concerning issues of local permissions for conducting geological studies and explorations on state and private budgets, state issuance of explorations permits in certain areas, re-establishing the national geological office of Mongolia, financing of geological studies on state budget, and licensing of geology and mining specialists and analysts.
