Lawmakers watch G.Ariunbaatar's performance at Mariinsky
Art & CultureUlaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ State Honored Artist of Mongolia G.Ariunbaatar did the solo once again at the Mariinsky Theatre of Saint Petersburg on March 20, performing as Scarpia in Tosca opera by G.Puccini. He recently also played Escamillo in Carmen.
G.Ariunbaatar became the winner of Grand Prix of the 15th International Tchaikovsky Competition last and won a contract with Mariinsky theatre for working there from the beginning of 2016.
Mongolian lawmakers D.Arvin and B.Narankhuu MPs watched the Tosca opera.
The symphonic orchestra was conducted by Valerii Gergiyev. The world-famous vocal coach and teacher of interpretation from Metropolitan theatre Mr Craig Rutenberg has worked with G.Ariunbaatar during rehearsals.
