MonCement project to create 375 workplaces
PoliticsUlaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Ministry of Industry along with Monpolymet LLC and Moncement Building Materials LLC inked the investment agreement on Moncement project on building a dry-processing cement plant in Dornogovi aimag, on December 28.
The lime and cement producing plant will be built basing on Senjit deposit, located in Orgon soum. The management of project, launched in 2006, is now officially passed to Moncement Building Materials.
Annually, the project is expected to accumulate 21.8 billion MNT to state budget and create 375 jobs. The maximum annual production capacity is 984 thousand tons of clinker 1.0 million tons of cement and 100 thousand tons of lime.
Overall project cost is 512.2 billion MNT, of which 463.4 billion MNT is allocated as investment, so far. The rest is to be financed in forms of loan from investors, international banks and financial organizations.
