President of Mongolia Pays Tribute at Statue of Marshal Tsedenbal Yumjaa in Uvs Aimag

Ulaanbaatar, July 29, 2025 /MONTSAME/. President of Mongolia Khurelsukh Ukhnaa paid tribute and laid a wreath at the statue of former leader Marshal Tsedenbal Yumjaa during his participation in the celebration marking the historic 100th anniversary of the founding of Uvs aimag.
The late Marshal Tsedenbal Yumjaa,
Hero of Mongolia and Hero of Labor, served as Head of State, Chairman of the
Presidium of the People’s Great Khural of Mongolia, Chairman of the Council of
Ministers, and General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Mongolian
People’s Revolutionary Party. Throughout his 44-year continuous leadership of the
State and the Party, Tsedenbal made remarkable contributions to safeguarding
Mongolia’s independence and advancing national development in the 20th century.
During his tenure, Mongolia
became a full-fledged member of the United Nations and established diplomatic
relations with over 130 countries and cultural ties with more than 60 nations.
