Cabinet meeting in brief
PoliticsUlaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ At its regular meeting on Wednesday, the cabinet made decisions regarding the composition of the organizing commission of Naadam festival and other matters.
-The composition of the organizing commission of the Naadam festival was renewed. The commission will be headed by the Deputy Prime Minister U.Khurelsukh.
-The cabinet backed the concept of Law on Broadcasting, and tasked related ministers to prepare the draft law for discussion by the next cabinet meeting.
-The ministers also backed in principle a draft law on youth development and resolved to submit it with reflection of recommendations by ministers to the Parliament.
-A few recommendations were suggested for the draft law on accountability for elected and appointed officials of the state, which have been initiated by the President.
-The cabinet backed in principle the Development Program for Mongolian Statistical Sector in 2016-2020, initiated and developed by Ts.Davaasuren and other MPs.
-The cabinet approved the Development Program on Armed Force Structure until 2020. The Minister of Defense was tasked to develop the plan of implementation and present the results to the cabinet on regular basis.
-The cabinet approved the Rule on healthcare and social welfare of the children with disabilities.
-In connection with the draft law on genepool of livestock, the cabinet considered the draft amendments to the law on special permit of operation of entities and the law on violations, and resolved to submit them to the Parlaiemnt.
-The cabinet backed the draft new wording of the law on donors.
