T.Khaliunaa becomes the Top Model of Goyol-2018
视频Mongolian biggest fashion festival “Goyol” took place for the 30th time on November 29 at the Central Cultural Palace. Goyol festival is annually organized by the Mongolian Designers’ Association.
On Wednesday night, Mongolian designers introduced their latest best collections to influence fashion trends of 2018. As tradition designers competed in the four main categories including daily fashion, traditional costume, ceremonial attire and abstract fashion. This year, more than 100 models were registered to participate in Goyol and over 50 models demonstrated the designers’ works.
Model T.Khaliunaa was selected as the Top Model of Goyol-2018 and one of the first Top Models E.Odgerel handed over the prize. Furthermore, Grand-Prix, named after Late D.Tuvshin, a founder of Goyol festival and Mongolian famous fashion designer, went to designer of “Goo Od” fashion house N.Dolgormaa.
This year, the festival announced a competition for “anti-pollution mask design” co-organized by Cambridge Mask Company, the Mongolian Designers’ Association, British Embassy in Ulaanbaatar and Mongol TV. The competition’s aims were to manufacture winner product and sell it in Mongolia and other countries. As a result, winners of the first three places were awarded. Designer M.Janidaiz won the first place with her design named “Uulen-2” and as the award she will participate in a fashion show to be held in Hong Kong in 2018.
