MIAT Representative in Seoul Awarded 'Honorary Citizen of Seoul'

Ulaanbaatar, November 27, 2025 /MONTSAME/. Enkhbat Batnyam, the Seoul-based representative of MIAT Mongolian Airlines, has been awarded the prestigious title of 'Honorary Citizen of Seoul.'
The Seoul
Metropolitan Government (SMG) granted the title in recognition of his
contribution to strengthening tourism and air transport cooperation between
Mongolia and the Republic of Korea, as well as fostering closer ties between
the citizens of the two capitals.
According to the SMG, MIAT representative Enkhbat has played an active and effective role for many years in ensuring stable air transport operations between the two countries, improving passenger services, and supporting bilateral tourism exchanges.
At
the award ceremony, Mr. Enkhbat said, “This esteemed recognition reflects not
only my efforts, but also the dedication of the entire MIAT team and the
friendship between our two nations. I will continue working to contribute to further
expanding cooperation and travel opportunities between the peoples of Mongolia
and Korea.”
The 'Honorary Citizen' title awarded to MIAT’s representative underscores Mongolia’s growing visibility and the continued strengthening of bilateral cooperation.
