Mongolia-Kazakhstan economic forum held
视频Development of road transport infrastructure is essential for expanding economic ties between Mongolia and Kazakhstan, claimed business people of the two countries at the first ever Mongolia-Kazakhstan economic forum.
The event was co-hosted in Ulaanbaatar by the Mongolian national Cham,ber of Commerce and Industry in association with the Kaznex Invest agency.
The forum which brought together 89 Mongolian and 19 Kazakhstani companies focused on ways of boosting bilateral economic cooperation. Meantime, the Kazakhstani side expressed its interest in targeting joint action with Mongolia at aviation and pharmacy. The Mongolian side promised to study the proposal and seek feasibilities thereby stressing an importance of finding solutions to infrastructural challenges in order to make smooth bilateral economic links. In particular, Mongolian import goods need to seek transit transportation through the territories of Russia or China which increases transportation costs.
