Young Talent Shines at the National Adult Chess Championships of Mongolia

Ulaanbaatar, November 24, 2025 /MONTSAME/. The National Adult Chess Championships of Mongolia were held at the Independence Palace on November 22–23, 2025.
According
to the State Committee of Physical Education and Sports, 11-year-old Anand Tsogtbileg claimed first
place in the men’s rapid category, finishing undefeated
with 8.5 points out of 9 rounds. In the women’s rapid category, Woman International Master Mungunzul Bat-Erdene
secured the top position with 7.5 points from 9
rounds.
The champions of the 13th rapid, 19th men’s blitz, and 16th women’s blitz competitions will earn the right to participate in the World Rapid and Blitz Championships, to be held next month in Doha, Qatar.
