Ulaanbaatar, November 3, 2025 /MONTSAME/. The Cultural and Arts Authority, an implementing agency of the Government of Mongolia, has announced that November 2025 will be marked nationwide as the “Mongolian Pride” Cultural Creativity Month. The initiative aims to highlight the significance of historic dates, the achievements of national figures, and the value of creative thinking through public awareness and engagement activities among citizens, especially children and youth.

Under this campaign, state and local cultural and arts organizations have been instructed to organize and promote events at national, regional, and institutional levels to honor Mongolia’s history, culture, and creative heritage.

November holds special importance for Mongolians, marking the birthdays of great historical figures and pivotal events that have strengthened the national language, culture, and spiritual identity. For instance, by Presidential Decree, the birth date of Great Chinggis Khaan- Temuujin has been designated as the first day of the first winter month of the Year of the Water Horse (1162) in the lunar calendar. Chinggis Khaan’s birthday, celebrated as “National Pride Day,” will be observed nationwide on November 21 this year.

On November 26, the nation will also commemorate Proclamation Day, marking 100 years since Mongolia proclaimed the People’s Republic, adopted its first Constitution, abolished serfdom, and established a new democratic state system.

In addition, under Government Resolution No. 183 of 2025, Mongolia will commemorate the 390th anniversary of Undur Gegeen Zanabazar, a prominent figure in religion, art, and statehood. Resolution No. 67 of 2025 also designates the 120th birth anniversary of Academician and State Prize laureate Rinchen Byamba, a distinguished scholar and public figure, to be celebrated this year. Celebrations for both anniversaries are currently underway.

Throughout the “Mongolian Pride” Cultural Creativity Month, a wide range of activities will be organized across the country to foster respect for Mongolian culture, traditions, and history; promote the use and value of the national language and script; disseminate the works and ideas of Mongolia’s prominent historical and public figures; and raise awareness of the Constitution’s principles and strengthen understanding and values of independence, rule of law, and civic culture.

The campaign will feature exhibitions, training sessions, lectures, discussions, academic conferences, educational programs, art performances, and media productions, including television, radio, and online content, aimed at inspiring national pride and creativity among the public.
