Mongolia-Czech Parliamentary Group Head Meets Deputy Speaker of Czech Senate

Ulaanbaatar, October 17, 2025 /MONTSAME/. A delegation led by Deputy Speaker of the Senate of the Czech Republic, Jitka Seitlová, is paying an official visit to Mongolia.


In this context, Member of State Great Khural and Head of the Mongolia-Czech Parliamentary Group Bat-Erdene Jadamba received Deputy Speaker of the Senate of the Parliament of the Czech Republic Jitka Seitlová on October 16. At the beginning of the meeting, Deputy Speaker of the Senate of the Parliament of the Czech Republic Jitka Seitlová underlined that during the State Visit of President of Mongolia Khurelsukh Ukhnaa to the Czech Republic, held in the framework of the historic 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries, the level of bilateral relations was elevated, expressing confidence that cooperation between the two sides will continue to develop further.


Head of the Mongolia-Czech Parliamentary Group J. Bat-Erdene noted that the Czech Republic is Mongolia’s “third neighbor” and a trusted partner in Europe. He emphasized that the two countries share common values such as democracy, human rights, freedom, and the rule of law, and highlighted the important role of cooperation between legislative bodies and parliamentary groups in bilateral relations. He stated that Mongolia is pleased to work together with the Czech Republic to expand and develop bilateral relations and cooperation in all fields. He also highlighted that the Czech Republic has been assisting in the research, protection, and reintroduction of rare animal species, such as the Gobi bear (Mazaalai) and the wild Bactrian camel. Furthermore, he underscored that this visit holds great significance for enriching bilateral cooperation with social and economic content and for further broadening collaboration across various sectors.


During the meeting, the two sides exchanged views on the outcomes and implementation of ongoing projects and programs within the framework of bilateral cooperation and discussed future directions for expanding collaboration, reported the Media and Public Relations Department of the State Great Khural.
