Foreign Minister of Laos Arrives in Mongolia

Ulaanbaatar, August 20, 2025 /MONTSAME/. At the invitation of Minister of Foreign Affairs Battsetseg Batmunkh, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Lao People’s Democratic Republic, Thongsavanh Phomvihane, arrived in Mongolia on August 19, 2025, for an official visit.
Minister Thonglavan Phomvihane and the accompanying delegation were welcomed at Chinggis Khaan International Airport by the Ambassador of Mongolia to ASEAN, Enkh-Taivan Dashnyam, and other officials. This visit follows the State Visits conducted by the Heads of State of the two countries.
President of Mongolia Khurelsukh Ukhnaa visited the Lao People’s Democratic Republic in 2023, and President Thongloun Sisoulith of the Lao People’s Democratic Republic paid a State Visit to Mongolia in 2024.
