T. Tulga Clinches Silver Medal at Asian Wrestling Championships

Ulaanbaatar, April 14, 2023 /MONTSAME/. Asian Wrestling Championships is being held in Astana, Kazakhstan. On the penultimate day of the Championships, Tulga Tumur-Ochir (Mongolia) clinched a silver medal in the men’s 65 kg category.
He qualified for the final bout defeating wrestlers from Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan. T. Tulga dominated the first quarter of the final bout against Rahman Amouzad Khalili (Iran), earning a one-point lead through a penalty, but Rahman's strong defense in the second quarter allowed him to fend off T. Tulga's attacks and secure a narrow victory.
Rahman has won his second consecutive gold medal in the Asian Championships.
