₮ card commemorative bar released

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The Bank of Mongolia has released a national ₮ (Tugrik) card commemorative bar with the card number ‘9496 1924 1991 2021‘ on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the establishment of a two-tier banking system in Mongolia.
On the front of the bar is an image of the Bank of Mongolia and the back of the bar features an image of a ger cart surrounded by Mongols. The silver-plated copper bar, which measures 85 x 55 mm and weighs 61.1 grams, is for sale alongside other commemorative items at coin.mongolbank.mn.
The way was paved for a two-tier banking system in Mongolia when the general rules for establishment and regulation of commercial banks and the banking law were adopted in 1990-1991.
