Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ March, 2020 will witness a special sporting event of joint climbing of Mongolian mountaineers led by State Honored Athlete G.Usukhbayar and Russian mountaineers to the summit of Munkh Saridag (3,491 metres), highest peak of the Sayan Mountains together with two Mongolian and Tuvan women in wheelchairs.
From Mongolian side, disabled artist Ch.Tungalagtuya is to participate and she is ensuring her preparation for the climbing. Mountaineers of the two countries decided to realize dream of the two women as Tuvan athlete Ayuna, who was injured during her ski practice, conveyed her dream of conquering the summit of Mt. Munkh Saridag to Russian mountaineers. The Mongolian and Russian mountaineers are aiming to overspread positive attitude on disability and realize dream of these enthusiastic women.
Since the climbing requires much preparation, organization, planning and funding, the organizers and participants are making huge efforts to make it successful.
On January 17-19, Ch.Tungalagtuya will make test climbing on Asralt Khairkhan /2800m/, the highest mountain of Khentii Mountain range together with Mongolian Mountaineers.
