In this edition of the series ‘Mongolian Fine Art Masterpiece’ brought to you with the Mongolian National Art Gallery, MONTSAME News Agency is presenting you a painting named ‘Sky Fairies’ by N.Adiyabazar, State Honored Cultural  Figure of Mongolia.

Artist N.Adiyabazar created ‘’Sky Fairies’ in 2009 on a 151х200 cm canvas using oil paint. In this painting, he made use of geometric shapes following the main principle of an analytic cubism to depict the main characters and demonstrated a movement of figures of eight queens in abstract expression interlacing back and forth with each other.

His unique artistic style or topic is a portrayal of heroic steppe herders, which are reflected in his series of paintings commonly illustrated with a harmony of bright blue and light colors, giving a spacious sense. N.Adiyabazar explores geometric approaches in his paintings and is considered an extraordinary artist for his ability to delicately feel the balance of space, image and color in its combination.

Adiyabazar Nyam, born in 1954 in Zuunmod city of Tuv aimag, started painting at a young age and took a drawing class. After studying graphic design at the State University of Education between 1974 and 1978, he has been working as an artist at the Tuv aimag-branch of the Union of Mongolian Artists until today.
