‘U-Money’ cards to be more accessible

On November 13, Governor of the Capital City and Mayor of Ulaanbaatar S.Amarsaikhan became acquainted with the situation of public transport together with President of T-money of ROK Kim Tae-geuk in aims of improving the quality of public transport, and defining what needs to be focused in order to make the U-money e-payment system more accessible. 

 

Since the operations of ‘Ulaanbaatar Smart Card’ LLC kicked off in 2016, the number of locations where U-money cards can be recharged has increased from 399 to 539. However, its accessibility remains to be an issue for citizens. In correlation with it, Governor S.Amarsaikhan travelled by public transport with President of T-Money Kim Tae-geuk, listening to pressing issues of citizens in using U-money cards and discussing measures to be taken in order to make the service more accessible further on.

Having become acquainted with the situation, President of T-money Kim Tae-geuk underlined the necessity of improving the services of ‘Ulaanbaatar Smart Card’ company, and obliged the company executives to give special attention to the issue, and increase the number of locations.
