His Holiness Pope Francis Lands in Mongolia for a State Visit

Ulaanbaatar, September 1, 2023 /MONTSAME/. The Head of the Holy See Pope Francis has arrived in Mongolia for a State Visit at the invitation of the President of Mongolia Khurelsukh Ukhnaa.
Foreign Minister B. Battsetseg greeted His Holiness Pope Francis upon his landing at the Chinggis Khaan International Airport, Mongolia.
It is the first visit of the Head of the Holy See to Mongolia and his 43rd Apostolic Journey. Over 150 journalists from around the world have also arrived in Mongolia to cover the Visit.
