Ambassador of Cuba Presents Letter of Credence

Ulaanbaatar, November 14, 2025 /MONTSAME/. On November 13, 2025, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Cuba to Mongolia, Emilio Pevida Pupo, presented his Letter of Credence to the State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia, Munkhtushig Lkhanaajav.
During the meeting, State Secretary Munkhtushig Lkhanaajav highlighted that this year marks the 65th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Mongolia and the Republic of Cuba. He emphasized the importance of further strengthening the longstanding friendship and cooperation between the two countries. The State Secretary also congratulated the Ambassador on his appointment and expressed the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia's readiness to provide full support in the fulfillment of his duties.
Ambassador Emilio Pevida Pupo expressed his pleasure at being appointed as Ambassador to Mongolia and affirmed his commitment to deepening and strengthening the longstanding friendship between the two countries, particularly through active cooperation in health, biotechnology, and education, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
