Cuba's Ambassador Jorge Rodríguez Concludes Diplomatic Mission in Mongolia

                                                                    Ulaanbaatar, November 4, 2025 /MONTSAME/. Minister of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia, Battsetseg Batmunkh, received Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Cuba to Mongolia, Jorge Rodríguez, upon the conclusion of his diplomatic mission in Mongolia.
At the meeting, Foreign Minister Battsetseg highlighted that 2025 marks the 65th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Mongolia and the Republic of Cuba. The Minister expressed appreciation for the continued advancement of the traditional friendship and comprehensive cooperation across various sectors, including politics, education, health, culture, and sports.
Ambassador Jorge Rodríguez was formally recognized for his distinguished contributions to strengthening the bilateral relations between Mongolia and Cuba. In acknowledgement of his dedicated service and with sincere wishes for success in his future endeavors, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia presented him with the esteemed “Golden Gerege” distinction.
The “Golden Gerege” is a prestigious award presented by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to foreign diplomats and distinguished individuals who have made significant contributions to strengthening Mongolia’s international relations.
Ambassador Rodríguez expressed his heartfelt gratitude for the warm hospitality of the Mongolian people and the strong support and close cooperation extended by the Government of Mongolia and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs throughout his diplomatic mission.
