Ulaanbaatar, October 15, 2025 /MONTSAME/. Mongolian artist Narantsatsral Ganbold’s solo exhibition titled “Transformation” opened in Ericeira, the Portuguese Republic, on October 11, 2025.

The exhibition presents the artist’s recent works created over the past few years.

By showcasing a representative of contemporary Mongolian painting on the westernmost coast of Europe, the exhibition introduces Mongolia and its unique artistic sensibility to European audiences, particularly the Portuguese public.

Using acrylic and oil paints, the artist depicts dreamlike imagery, fantastical figures, and surreal scenes as if drawn from myths and imagination. At the opening ceremony, Honored Worker of Art of Mongolia and violinist Ch. Delgertsetseg performed solo pieces, including “On High Mountain of Khentii,” composed by State Prize Laureate Damdinsuren Bileg in 1947, and “Winter” by Honored Worker of Art of Mongolia Batchuluun Batsaikhan, enchanting the audience with melodies inspired by Mongolia’s natural beauty.

The exhibition will run until November 16 at the Jaime Lobo e Silva Cultural Center in Ericeira.
