Meat reserve being prepared from eastern aimags

Ulaanbaatar/MONTSAME/. Preparation of 12.5 thousand tons of meat reserve is ongoing for the spring needs of the capital city population, for which sixteen companies have established a contract with the Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Light Industry. Currently, the meat reserve work is over 70 percent complete.
Compared to previous years, the process of preparing meat reserve has slowed down due to the outbreak of COVID-19.
Meat reserve is being prepared mainly from the eastern aimags, Khuvsgul and Bulgan aimags. Halal meat is also being supplied from Bayan-Ulgii aimag .
