Trade and Economic Mission of Kazakhstan to Mongolia takes place
EconomyUlaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The National Chamber of Commerce and
Industry, the Foreign Trade Chamber of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the National
Chamber of Entrepreneurs of Kazakhstan ‘Atameken’, Ministry of Investment and
Development of Kazakhstan and the Embassy of Kazakhstan in Mongolia
co-organized an event themed ‘Trade and Economic Mission of Kazakhstan to
Mongolia’ on October 4-5, which involved entities of the two countries in the fields
of energy, construction, health and so forth.
In 2017, bilateral trade turnover between Mongolia and the
Republic of Kazakhstan reached USD 74.8 million, of which USD 72.5 million were export from Kazakhstan.
At the beginning of the meeting, Nuraly Bukeihanov, Deputy
Chairman of the Management Board of the Foreign Trade Chamber of Kazakhstan, emphasized
“Trade and economic cooperation between Mongolia and Kazakhstan has been
rapidly developing over the recent years. Entrepreneurs of the two countries
are working to strengthen their ties and to expand relations and cooperation in
all fields. The countries have sufficient potential of intensifying cooperation
in the spheres of infrastructure, agriculture, energy as well as pharmaceutical
manufacturing”
Moreover, Aidar Abishev, Minister-Counselor at the Embassy of
Kazakhstan in Mongolia expressed hope for further expansion of bilateral trade
and economic cooperation.
Additionally, some private talks were held during the event,
promoting formulation of partnership between business entrepreneurs and
entities of the two countries.
In conclusion, the sides agreed to systematically reduce the problems entrepreneurs face.
