Naadam Festival opened with new President's speech

After respectfully placing the Nine White Banners at the Central Stadium, the Fifth President of Mongolia Kh.Battulga gave speech on the National Naadam Celebration on the 2226th anniversary of Foundation of First Mongolian Statehood, 811th anniversary of the Great Mongol Empire and 96th anniversary of People’s Revolution of Mongolia.
“My dear people and guests, I deliver my humble regards for Mongolian National celeberation of Naadam. This year marks the 2226th anniversary of the establishment of first Mongolian statehood, 811th anniversary of the Great Mongol Empire, 96th anniversary of People’s Revolution of Mongolia and 27th anniversary of the Democratic Revolution. Everywhere around the world, our people are raising the fame of our beloved country, Mongolia. The banner of our independence is still standing strong. The hardworking Mongolia has won and is striving for development. On this day of Naadam celebration, I perceive that we must share significant actions planned in the future. I will focus on unemployment, poverty and certain debt issues that are undermining the livelihood of some households. I am deliberately informing our main goals on restoring the economy and starting construction works without delay. Naadam celebration is a significant cultural heritage that is spreading the name of our country in the world. In the sweet times of summer, our tradition of statehood, wonder of cultural history and pleasure of our people National Naadam celebration has now started. In the days of laughter and hardship of our proud people with great history and culture, let their hearts be at ease, horses be quick and bows be accurate. I announce the commencement of one and only celeberation of Naadam in the world. Happy Naadam. Let our sovereign state be flourished. And let my people be at peace".
After his speech, President Kh.Battulga paid respect to and bowed in front of the Nine White Banners. The opening ceremony of Naadam celebration was attended by the honored guests namely, President Kh.Battulga, Parliament Speaker M.Enkhbold and Prime Minister J.Erdenebat at the Central Stadium.
