VideoMongolian painters helps citizens with disabilities
On the occasion of the Human Rights Day, a charity exhibition named “Social Art” has been opened with 100 art works in Ulaanbaatar. The event is being staged by Mongolian artists with a view to make their contribution to the foundation of a capacity building center for disabled people.
Mongolia numbers 108 thousand people with disabilities.
D.Amarbayasgalan becomes Secretary-General of MPP
The 7th Conference of the Mongolian People’s Party /MPP/ completed on Monday.
In gaining the majority of votes, D.Amarbayasgalan has been elected as the Secretary-General of MPP. This year’s Conference of the party was organized in the period of economic crisis in Mongolia.

Each year the Confederation of Mongolian journalists names the best of the bests of Mongolian media industry. Thus, this year the MONTSAME national news agency’s official website www.montsame.mn was named as the best news website of Mongolia of 2016.
The www.montsame.mn is the only website in Mongolia which covers news stories in mongolian, english, russian, chinese and japanese languages. The best of bests were determined in 15 nominations
The MONTSAME news agency’s official website was awarded such kind of prize in 2013.
Teenage chess player wins gold medal at World Schools Individual Championships in Sochi
Teenage Mongolian chess player N.Sodbilegt grabbed a gold medal in the age category of up to 7 of the World Schools Individual Championship, which was held in Russian city of Sochi on December 2-12.
Mongolia was represented by 21 teenage chess players in age categories of 7, 9 and 13 years.
