VideoMongolian Democratic Party convenes its congress
The Mongolian Democratic Party commenced today its 6th Congress which is attended by 1210 delegates. The Congress agenda includes a political report, concept of the Democratic party and new draft rules of the party. The Congress is also attended upon invitation by a hundred persons who participated in foundation of the party.
Gangaamaa to conquer the Peak of Antarctica
State Honored Sportswoman, international master of mountain sports Gangaamaa Badamgarav is leaving for Antarctica where she is planning to conquer the Peak of Vinson Massif (4897 m). In pursuing her ambitious dream to conquer the seven tops of the highest mountains in the world, Gangaamaa has succeeded in climbing the other six. This would be her last top of the world.
Mongolia-U.S. political consultations held
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia and the U.S. State Department have hosted the 11th political consultative meeting in Washington DC on December 1.
The parties focused on issues concerning bilateral trade and economic cooperation, US investment to Mongolia, fostering bilateral collaboration in the areas of defense, agriculture, energy and security, finalizing and implementing a transparency agreement and formalizing the second compact with the U.S. Millennium Challenge Corporation.
