Eight athletes to compete in 2016 Summer Paralympics
SportsUlaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Mongolia will be represented at the Rio 2016 Summer Paralympic Games by eight athletes.
The 2016 Paralympics will take place on September 7-18 with participation of 4,500 of 173 countries to compete for 528 packages of medals in 23 events.
D.Baatarjav, a State Honored Sportsman and 2008 Paralympic champion will chair the national team of Mongolia, and he will attend the men’s archery contest. Other parathletes will compete in archery, judo, shooting, athletics and powerlifting.
The team members will leave for Brazil in this week.
