New ministers appointed by parliament
VideoAt its plenary meeting held Tuesday, Mongolian parliament had discussed and adopted appointments of the Minister of Construction and Urban Development, the Minister of Road and Transportation, the Minister of Finance, the Minister of Environment, Green Development and Tourism and the Minister of Labor.
Member of the Parliament Mr Ts.Oyunbaatar has been nominated for the post of Deputy Prime Minister.
Three of the new Ministers are from the Democratic Party and other three are from the "Justice" coalition.
The Chairman of the State Great Khural (parliament) congratulated newly appointed Ministers, and wished them success in their duties.
As we informed before, the President of Mongolia Mr Elbegdorj gave a response last Friday to a proposal of the government on appointing some members of the government.
In his response, the President confirmed his principal position that he does not support an appointment of a person holding the membership of both parliament and government.
