MONTSAME agency calls for helping North Korea

Minister counselor of the Embassy of the DPRK in Ulaanbaatar, Mr Chwe Hyo Sen attended today the MONTSANE news agency to extend gratitude to Mongolian government and nongovernmental organizations for arranging a campaign to help North Korean people

affected by a natural disaster. The news agency pledges to promote activities of those organizations in support of their charity campaign.

Late August of this year, the northern part of North Korea was hit by strongest storm ever seen in last 70 years which brought heavy losses and damages to locals. The North Korean Embassy reports that 138 people have died and 400 people went missing. A total of 18 thousand buildings were destroyed leaving about 69 thousand  people homeless.

The Embassy of the DPRK stresses that DPRK did not and will not forget heartfelt support and assistance of the fraternal Mongolian people who has always extended helping hands in hard times of Korean war and natural disasters.
