Mongolian beauty acclaimed at “MISS TOURISM QUEEN”

The winner’s crown of “MISS TOURISM QUEEN INTERNATIONAL” contest held in China on September 26 has went to N.Anuu, a Mongolian model.

Before that, she has been representing Mongolia at various contests including the World Beauty 2015.

The first ever Mongolian to compete at the Miss Tourism Queen International  was G.Oyungerel, who won the title of Asian Queen in 2007.

Hakuho Davaajargal to back home

The Yokozuna-titled  (Grand Champion) of professional sumo Hakuho M.Davaajargal will be arriving in Ulaanbaatar on Thursday. He has taken a break from this month’s tournament, the Aki Basho, due to leg injuries.

The Yokozuna has undergone surgeries on his right foot toe and left knee. He will be resting and attending physical therapy sessions in Mongolia for a week.

American Days expo in Mongolia

The U.S. Embassy in Ulaanbaatar in association with the American Chamber of Commerce have hosted the third annual 2016 American Days expo.

The two day expo displayed best products and services of over 100 American companies operating on the Mongolian market and was visited by above 10 thousand people.

Humanitarian aid appreciated

The Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs, Mrs B.Battsetseg has met with the Secretary General of the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies, Mr Elhadj As Sy to share views on prospectives of bilateral cooperation. The latter is in Mongolia for taking part in the International Partnership Conference underway in Ulaanbaatar on September 27 and 28.

The Deputy Foreign Minister thanked the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies for providing Mongolia with 1.6 billion humanitarian aid for 5400 herders households this year.
