Prime Minister meets AmCham Mongolia Reps

On Tuesday, Prime Minister J.Erdenebat met with representatives of the American Chamber of Commerce in Mongolia and made briefing on the Government policy and measures on economy and investment.

At the beginning of his statement, the Premier said “First of all, measures for stabilizing macroeconomic conditions in order to achieve the good grounds making sure the delivery of objectives for the coming years. The Government will focus on forwarding the high-yielding projects, regaining the investors’ trust and ensuring favorable environment for investment”.
Within the structure of the Cabinet Secretariat, the Council for Protecting  Investors’ Interests and the National Development Department are deployed with a task to eliminate the pressures on investors, identifying and handling potential conflicts between the public and private sector, ensuring coherence between industries and defining the priorities in Mongolia’s future growth.
“We would like to reassure that Mongolia is a country full of business and investment opportunities”, he concluded the statement.
The meeting was attended by Ambassador of the USA to Mongolia Ms Jennifer Zimdahl Galt and the heads of other diplomatic missions as well as leaders of banking and financial institutions.
