Libraries to be made more accessible to persons with disabilities
At a recent meeting of the Human Development Committee of the Citizens’ Representatives’ Khural of the capital city (Ulaanbaatar city government), implementation of the Law on Culture and government measures on culture, development of creative cultural production and creating disability friendly environment at the city library and its four branches and libraries at cultural places in three remote districts were discussed.

Handover ceremony takes place for medical equipment and supplies being provided through UNICEF fund
On July 30, a ceremony took place to present medical equipment and tools being procured as part of the Access to COVID-19 Tools Accelerator Supplies Financing Facility (ACT-A SFF), a newly launched pooled fund by UNICEF to support low- and middle-income countries access to COVID-19 health supplies.
