Leaders of Mongolian and Chinese Olympic committees hold meeting

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Leaders
of the Mongolian National Olympic Committee held a meeting with Vice President
of the Chinese Olympic Committee, Vice Minister of the State General
Administration of Sports of China Li Yingchuan in Beijing, China.
The Mongolians side commended the
Chinese side for successfully organizing the Winter Olympics during a pandemic
and congratulated Beijing on becoming the first city to host both winter and
summer Olympics. The Chinese side expressed gratitude to Mongolia for the close
cooperation between the Olympic committees of the two countries and for sending
its athletes to the Beijing Olympics.
During the meeting, the sides
also discussed working together in organizing the Ulaanbaatar 2023 East Asian
Youth Games and having Mongolian athletes compete in the Hangzhou Asian Games in
September.
