Speaker of Parliament of Kyrgyzstan to Pay Official Visit to Mongolia

Ulaanbaatar, April 22, 2024 /MONTSAME/. At the invitation of Chairman of the State Great Khural (Parliament) of Mongolia Zandanshatar Gombojav, Speaker of the Jogorku Kenesh (Parliament) of the Kyrgyz Republic Nurlanbek Shakiev will pay an official visit to Mongolia on April 23-25, 2024.
During the visit, Chairman Zandanshatar Gombojav and Speaker Nurlanbek Shakiev will hold official talks and exchange views on relations between the two countries, inter-parliamentary cooperation, and other issues of mutual interest.
Speaker of the Jogorku Kenesh (Parliament) of the Kyrgyz Republic Nurlanbek Shakiev will pay a courtesy call on President of Mongolia H.E. Khurelsukh Ukhnaa and meet with Prime Minister of Mongolia Oyun-Erdene Luvsannamsrai. Also, Speaker Nurlanbek Shakiev will participate as an honorable guest in the Second annual Trans-Altai Sustainability Dialogue in Ulaanbaatar on April 25-27, 2024.
This visit is remarkable as it is the first visit of the Speaker of the Parliament of the Kyrgyz Republic to Mongolia. The official visit is expected to boost political dialogue and mutual trust between Mongolia and Kyrgyzstan, strengthen cooperation between legislative bodies, and solidify the legal basis of relations.
