Ulaanbaatar, April 23, 2024 /MONTSAME/. Manchester United reached the FA Cup final after defeating Coventry City 4-2 on penalties following a dramatic 3-3 draw in the semi-final on April 21, 2024.

Sunday’s match was remarkable in the eyes of Mongolian Ochirvaani Batbold, a true fan of “The Red Devils”. He became a fan of Manchester United at the age of 10.


In June 2023, an article about B. Ochirvaani, a Manchester United fan from Mongolia, was published on the official website of the club. The article detailed his incredible journey by bicycle from Mongolia to England to fulfill his lifelong dream of watching his favorite team play.


He embarked on his journey in May 2023, planning to arrive in England by December that same year. However, unforeseen complications, such as visa issues, caused the trip to take much longer than planned.


With crucial assistance from the Embassy of Mongolia to the United Kingdom, B. Ochirvaani finally reached England after an epic 11-month journey. Having cycled 6,900 km, he fulfilled his dream by watching Manchester United play at Wembley Stadium, in the UK.
