Secretary General of Parliament Secretariat receives IRI Country Director

Ulaanbaatar /MONSTAME/ On December 5, Secretary General of Parliament Secretariat of Mongolia Ts.Tsolmon received Mr. Craig Castagna, Country Director at the International Republican Institute (IRI) Mongolia, at the State House.
With the support of the US House Democracy Partnership, Parliament Secretariat and the IRI are planning to organize a methodological training on conducting public hearing in Ulaanbaatar on December 13-14. It is also planned to host an event to get familiarized with the activities of the National Assembly of the Republic of Korea and its public hearing experience on December 17-18 in Seoul.
At the meeting the parties exchanged views on the agenda and plans of the upcoming events and other cooperation issues and agreed to focus on the efficiency and quality of the training.
