Winner of the plastic modeling competition to participate international show

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ On the occasion of the 96th anniversary of Victory Day of the Republic of Turkey, the ‘Plastic Battle Armor Modeling Competition’ was held at the initiative of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkey to Mongolia Ahmet Yazal.
The competition was sponsored by Turkish Airlines and co-organized by the Association of Mongolian Plastic Designers. A total of 15 works competed in the competition.
A senior member of the Association of Mongolian Plastic Designers P.Erkhembayar won the competition and was qualified to participate in the ‘Plastic Battle Armor Modeling Show’ to be held on September 8-9 in Turkey and the two-way ticket. P.Erkhembayar will be the first plastic designer to participate in the international plastic modeling show.
The winner of the competition said, “I have been interested in the plastic battle armor modeling since the age of 12. In 1980, my father brought me an assembling model kit from Moscow. My interest arose when I assembled my first model.
I have started working on my piece a month before the competition. I made the model of the German tank ‘Panther F’ that was in use during 1914-1915’s. Currently, over 60 models were assembled.”
