Chinese Cultural Days takes place in Arvaikheer city

Uvurkhangai /MONTSAME/ An event themed ‘China Culture and Tourism Festival-2018’ was held in Uvurkhangai aimag on August 24-25.
During the event, an art gallery in Shandong province, China mounted their exhibition and Urguu and Soyol-Erdene bands presented their performance free of charge. The exhibition promoted Chinese decorative arts and the developing art of paper-cutting. The paper-cutting art creates life and customs of Chinese people on a paper using scissors or craft knives.
Some papercuts that has been preserved in Shandong Art Museum for 40 years were displayed during the event and a course on paper-cutting was conducted. Chinese paper-cutting art was inscribed on the Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity in 2009.
