Mongolian Ambassador to Japan Calls for Cooperation with Central Provinces

Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Mongolia to Japan, Bayarsaikhan
Banzragch, participated in the seminar, the 2025 annual meeting, and the honorary
reception organized by the Niigata-Mongolia Friendship Association on October
15, 2025.
At the 2025 regular meeting, Ambassador
Bayarsaikhan delivered a speech on the topic of “Mongolia’s Long-Term
Development Policy 2050 and Regional Development Policy Implementation,” presenting
about the central region of Mongolia and calling for the Japanese Koshinetsu region,
including Niigata, Nagano, and Yamanashi prefectures, to cooperate with
agriculturally developed central-region aimags. Moreover, the Second Secretary
General of the Embassy of Mongolia, B. Shandas, briefed on economic circumstances
and answered audience’s questions.
Over 100 political and business representatives led by the Governor of Niigata Prefecture Hideyo Hanazumi, Vice Mayor of Niigata City Shoko Nojima, and Director of the Secretariat of the “Niigata City International Exchange Foundation” Hiroya Ikeda, attended the meeting.
