President of Mongolia Confers State Decorations on Indian Citizens

Ulaanbaatar, October 15, 2025 /MONTSAME/. Ulaanbaatar, October 15, 2025 /MONTSAME/. On the occasion of the 70th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Mongolia and the Republic of India, Mongolian state decorations were awarded to Indian citizens who have made valuable contributions to the development of bilateral relations and cooperation. President Khurelsukh conferred the state orders and medals during his State Visit to India.


Order of the Polar Star:

  • Mr. Suresh Babu, former Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of India to Mongolia
  • Mr. Mohinder Pratap Singh, former Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of India to Mongolia
  • Professor Sharad Kumar Soni, Head of the Department of East Asian Studies at Jawaharlal Nehru University and Mongolist

Friendship Medal:

  • Mr. Dilip Dandekar, Honorary Consul of Mongolia in Mumbai, India
  • Mr. Chella Narayanaswami Gangadaran, Honorary Consul of Mongolia in Tamil Nadu, India
  • Mr. Girdhar Gopal Dalmia, Honorary Consul of Mongolia in West Bengal, India
  • Dr. Krishna Iyer, cardiac surgeon at Fortis Escorts Heart Institute, India
  • Mr. Vipin Buckshey, Optometrist and Laser Vision Correction Specialist
  • Mr. Aman Mittal, Vice President of Lovely Professional University, India

President Khurelsukh expressed his appreciation to the recipients for their dedicated efforts in strengthening Mongolia–India relations and extended his best wishes to them, their families, and their colleagues.
