“Uushgi” Brand Named Best Startup Project in Western Mongolia

Ulaanbaatar, October 10, 2025 /MONTSAME/. A competition to select the best startup and most innovative business project in western Mongolia was held in Khovd aimag.
The
“Uushgi” (Lung) brand, developed by Undarmaa Enkhjargal from Khovd aimag, won
first place and received MNT 20 million in
funding support. The mobile dental clinic
project led by G. Boldmaa
from Zavkhan aimag took second place with MNT 17 million,
while HD Printing Services, operated by O. Saikhandalai of Khovd aimag, placed
third, receiving MNT 15 million. The
funding is provided under a condition of 50 percent repayment
within three years. Certificates were presented to the winners
on October 9, 2024.
Based
in Khovd aimag, the “Uushgi” brand promotes
innovative food production technology developed through many years of research.
The company produces highly nutritious
food supplements made from livestock organ meat, which are rich
in protein and vitamins and designed to support human health. The brand
currently offers five to six types of products
on the market, including “Strong Stomach,”
“Strong Heart,” and “Strong Immunity.”
