Jewelry Collector Kazumi Arikawa Visits Fine Arts Zanabazar Museum

Ulaanbaatar, September 22, 2025 /MONTSAME/. A world-renowned jewelry collector, Japanese jewelry expert, and the founder of the Albion Art Jewelry Institute, Kazumi Arikawa, visited the Fine Arts Zanabazar Museum on September 20, 2025.

 

On the occasion of the 390th anniversary of the birth of Undur Gegeen Zanabazar, he admired the works created by Undur Gegeen himself, which are preserved at the museum. He praised Mongolia’s ancient artistic heritage, historical monuments, and the rare works of world-renowned artists, stating that he was amazed by Mongolian art and aesthetics, and that Zanabazar created art at the highest level.

 

He also wrote in the museum’s memory book, “Seeing the masterpieces created by Undur Gegeen with his own hands moved me deeply. I realized that these oeuvres, created by the ingenuity of Mongol people, demonstrate the high level of Mongolian culture and art. I felt sentiments and goosebumps from these works and from this museum.”

 

Kazumi Arikawa has been a jewelry collector and researcher for over 40 years, and believes that jewelry and art collections are not just decorative objects, but also a form of investment and a factor that influences the long-term social psyche.
