First Mongolian Conference of Young Scientists Announced

Ulaanbaatar, October 13, 2025 /MONTSAME/. The first Mongolian Conference of Young Scientists for secondary school students will be organized at the initiative of School No. 11, with support from the Ministry of Education and Science and the General Authority for Education.
According to the General
Authority for Education, the competition is designed as an independent academic
competition, in which research papers will be evaluated by a panel of professional
judges. Students aged 14 to 18
from general education schools are eligible to participate by submitting scientific research reports.
Since 1994, the International Conference of Young Scientists (ICYS)
has been held annually, featuring over 2,500 research
presentations in six fields of science and engineering to date.
Starting in 2026, Mongolia will participate in ICYS on
a regular basis.
In the final round of the Mongolian
Conference of Young Scientists, winners will be selected and awarded, and six students will be chosen to represent Mongolia at ICYS
2026.
