Ulaanbaatar, Bucheon Share Views on Traffic Congestion, Disaster Risks

/MONTSAME/. Chairman of the Citizens’ Representatives Khural of the Capital
City (CRKCC), Bayar Amarbayasgalan, met with the Mayor of Bucheon city in the
Republic of Korea, Cho Yong-ik, and other officials.
Chairman Bayar began the meeting
by noting that the CRKCC is developing multifaceted relations and cooperation
with South Korean cities. Mr. Bayar expressed interest in sharing experiences
and cooperating on traffic congestion, road network, planning, floods, and disasters.
Mayor Cho Yong-ik mentioned that the
application of information technology and artificial intelligence, as well as the
transition to a unified, regular system that mitigates disaster-related risks and
factory accidents by monitoring and preventing daily, has reduced such accidents.
The Mayor of Bucheon stated that future cooperation in this area is possible.
