Princess Maha Chakri Award to Be Conferred to Mongolian Teacher

Ulaanbaatar, May 13, 2025 /MONTSAME/. Mongolia nominated A. Uyanga, Training Manager of the Enerel Vocational Training School of Mongolia, for the Princess Maha Chakri Award.
The Princess Maha Chakri Award was first presented in 2015 to honor Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn of the Kingdom of Thailand and to commemorate her 60th birthday. Since then, the Award has been offered biennially to teachers from South East Asian countries and Timor Leste in celebration of teachers, recognizing their contribution to future generations.
Beginning in 2025, the scope of the Award has been expanded to include Mongolia, the People’s Republic of Bangladesh, and the Kingdom of Bhutan. From Mongolia, A. Uyanga is scheduled to receive the Princess Maha Chakri Award from Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn on October 15, 2025.
During their visit to Mongolia, a delegation led by Chairman of the Princess Maha Chakri Award Foundation Dr. Krissanapong Kirtikara held a meeting with State Secretary of the Ministry of Education of Mongolia Batjargal Khandjav. The delegation also visited the “Enerel” Vocational Training School and schools that have implemented projects initiated by the Kingdom of Thailand.
