Economically active population of Mongolia stands at 1.3 million
The fourth quarter results of 2018 Labour Force Survey shows that at the national level there are 1.3 million economically active population aged 15 and over, out of which, 732.7 (54.5 percent) thousand persons are male and 612.6 (45.5percent) thousand persons are female. Also, the survey result indicates that 764.2 (56.8 percent) thousands of economically active population live in urban areas, while 581.1 (43.2 percent) thousand live in rural areas.
