Mongolia, Vietnam to Enrich Cooperation between Legislative Bodies

October 2, 2025 /MONTSAME/. Vice Chairman of the National
Assembly of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, Tran Quang Phuong, who is paying
an official visit to Mongolia, met with Speaker of the State Great Khural, Amarbayasgalan
Dashzegve, on October 1, 2025.
Speaker
of the State Great Khural Amarbayasgalan Dashzegve emphasized, “Relations
with Vietnam, one of Mongolia’s important partners in Southeast Asia, have actively
developed in all areas over the past 70 years, reaching the level of a Comprehensive
Partnership, and practical cooperation is being implemented in many important
social and economic sectors as of today. Cooperation between the supreme
legislative bodies of the two countries has played an important role in
Mongolia-Vietnam relations. Maintaining the frequency of regular visits at all
levels between the two Parliaments is significant in strengthening political
mutual trust and understanding between the two countries. Furthermore, mutual
support for entrepreneurs of both countries through government policies is
important for further expanding and developing trade and economic cooperation
between Mongolia and Vietnam.”
Vice
Chairman of the National Assembly of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, Tran Quang
Phuong, expressed, “Traditional friendly relations, political
trust, and economic cooperation between the two countries are developing more closely.
Vietnam is ready to continue to develop and enrich the cooperation between the legislative
bodies in the future. There are wide opportunities for cooperation between the
two countries, especially in the food, agriculture, light industry, mining, and
industrial sectors.”
This official visit by the Vice Chairman of the National Assembly of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam marks the first visit at the Vice-Chairman level since 2015.
